
Dr. Anton is an author and technopreneur. He has been in the IT industry for nearly 4 decades and
worked for IBM Labs, Computer Associates (now known as CA Technologies/Broadcom), Sun
Microsystems (Singapore) and Oracle in technical and management positions before venturing into
entrepreneurship. Subsequently, he won several accolades as a Technopreneur including the
Entrepreneur of the Year Award for two consecutive years in 2005 & 2006 as well Singapore Indian
Entrepreneur Award in 2006. Under his leadership, Genovate won the Enterprise 50 awards for 2
consecutive years in 2005 & 2006 and operated in 7 countries and 17 cities. He was awarded the
Global Asian of Year 2024 award at the Asia Business Forum. He has been featured on the Straits
Times, Business Times, Channel News Asia, CNBC, Money FM, Zaobao, ZTV, Oman TV, Edge, Daily
News and Peak amongst others.
He is currently the President of Alliance for AI & Humanity (not for profit), Founder and CEO of
edGICT, GICT Pte Ltd and Smartlaw Pte Ltd. He also sits on the boards of companies as a director,
advisor, and mentor.
He holds bachelor’s (USA) , Master’s (USA), and doctoral (Australia) degrees in IT as well as various
industry certifications. He was awarded International Merit Scholarship to pursue his doctoral
degree in Australia. He is a fellow of both the British Computer Society (BCS) and Singapore
Computer Society (SCS) and is also a Chartered Engineer of the UK.
He is the author of the book – “Will AI Dictate the Future?” published in May 2022. He also has
edited and coauthored 5 other books on technology. He is currently a visiting Prof of the University
of Zadar (Croatia), and an Adjunct Prof of Binus University. He was a visiting Prof with the Institute
for Research in Applicable Computing (IRAC) at the University of Bedfordshire (UK), Birla Institute of
Technology and Science & Technology (Dubai Campus), and Fresenius University of Applied Sciences
(2018), Cologne, Germany.
He is a Member of Citizens Consultative Committee (2004 – Present), Member, Talent Advisory
Panel – Peoples’ Association (2016-2025), immediate Past President of the Cloud Computing Chapter
(from 2015-2024); former member of the National Internet Advisory Committee (NIAC, Ministry of
Information, Communication and the Arts, Singapore), Past Chairman, National CCPD Working Group
-IMDA & SCS (2015-2016), Past Exco member of ICT & Technology of SMF, Past Vice Chairman of
Electric, Electronic, and Allied Industries of SMF (from 2012-2020); former Member of the National

Dr Stella Tsani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, National
and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with expertise in energy and natural resource
economics, sustainable development, and economic policy, applying systems-based
and quantitative approaches to sustainability transitions. She is the 2025 EUSEW
Women in Energy Award winner, recognized by the European Commission for her
outstanding contributions to Europe’s energy transition.
Dr Tsani is highly active at the science-policy interface, contributing to major
international assessment and advisory processes. She serves as a member of the
Multidisciplinary Expert Panel of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on
Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) representing the Western European
and Others (WEOG) Group. She is a Lead Author of UNEP’s Global Environment
Outlook (GEO-7), the United Nations’ flagship environmental assessment,
contributing to pathways for economic and financial transformation toward
sustainability. She contributes as Lead Author to the 8th edition of the UNESCO
Science Report, UNESCO’s leading global assessment of science, technology, and
innovation systems and their role in sustainable development. She has supported
the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change as an expert contributor to the
IPCC 7th Assessment Report scoping process and as a reviewer for the IPCC
Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere. She is the Scientific Lead of the
Resilience Economics and Sustainable Transitions International Centre of
Excellence of the Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) Programme
(International Science Council/United Nations Office for Disaster Risk
Reduction/China Association for Science and Technology) and a contributor to the
International Energy Agency (IEA) report on Clean Energy Innovation Policies in
Emerging and Developing Economies.
Dr. Tsani is an elected member of the InterAcademy Partnership Policy Advisory
Committee, a Young Academies Science Advice Structure (YASAS) delegate, and
an expert member of the International Science Council Initiative on Science Advice
for Public Policy in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region. In 2022, she
became the first scholar based in Greece to join the Global Young Academy, where
she coordinates activities on sustainable development, foresight, and innovation.
She is a member of the Young Academy of Europe.
